Join the Global Community of Practice on Third Country Education Pathways
Key to the Global Task Force’s mission is the convening of a Global Community of Practice (CoP) on Third Country Education Pathways, which brings together diverse stakeholders from across the globe to share knowledge and resources and to build the capacity of its members. The CoP encourages broad membership from a wide array of actors already offering or supporting third country education pathways or resources for refugee students, from refugee networks and post-secondary institutions to foundations, associations, states, and NGOs. Stakeholders with no prior experience providing third country education pathways, but with a dedicated interest in learning more about how to support refugee youth through higher education, are also welcome to join the CoP.
CoP members are committed to sharing best practices, developing reference and guidance materials, and conducting training and information sessions to work towards the following objectives:
Increase awareness of third country education pathways among relevant stakeholders globally by sharing resources, information, and knowledge;
Build members’ capacity to develop and implement third country education pathways through trainings, workshops, and peer-to-peer exchange;
Facilitate the sharing of best practices, lessons learnt, and relevant resources on third country education pathways through the Task Force website;
Facilitate effective collaboration between CoP members to design, implement and expand third country education pathways; conduct research; develop tools and best practices; ask relevant questions and engage in discussions with other members through various platforms;
Promote the minimum standards for complementary education pathways and other resources and tools developed by the Global Task Force or Global Task Force members.
If your organisation or entity is interested in joining the CoP, please submit an expression of interest through the button below.
Please note, individuals who wish to learn more about third country education pathways for research or general interest purposes, and individuals seeking third country education opportunities are not eligible for membership in the CoP but are welcome to subscribe to the Global Task Force mailing list to receive updates on events and resources
